Mary Ann Mogus taught physics at East Stroudsburg University, worked in archaeology, and with her students worked on unmanned aerial vehicles for the Cessna Design, Build, and Fly contest. For a time she served as interim director and archivist at a local Museum/Historic site. She is a retired physics professor working as a freelance author in the areas of fiction and nonfiction. She operates a small craft business, Topaz Butterfly Creations, and her designs may be found at Craftique Collection, East Pittsburgh Street, Greensburg, Pennsylvania. She also works with the informal Craftique Fiber Arts Group.
